We offer extensive laboratory services, which allow for immediate evaluation of a patient’s treatment needs.

• Hematology: the complete blood count (CBC) is the most commonly performed basic hematology technique. This procedure provides information about the red cell mass, white cell number, platelet estimate, and total protein.

• Serum Chemistry: is a test performed to find levels of chemicals produced by the body. The levels aid in diagnosing and treating the horses.

• Blood gas: measures levels of gases such as oxygen, carbon dioxide and the blood’s pH level. The blood gas is utilized on animals in surgery and animals that are being closely monitored by our team.

• Coggins test: our state and federal accredited veterinarians are allowed to perform the diagnostic test for equine infectious anemia (Coggins test).
